Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Diaspora Leaders Commend Governor Oyebanji’s Achievements and Ekiti State’s Global Impact

At the June edition of the Diaspora Townhall Engagement organised by the Ekiti Diaspora Relations, Honorable Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, lauded Governor Oyebanji’s notable achievements in Ekiti State, highlighting the global impact of Ekiti Diasporans.

She emphasized the importance of recognizing their contributions and commended Mr. Olajide, Chairman/CEO of CAVISTA HOLDING COMPANY, for his significant investments across Europe and Africa, representing Nigeria admirably.

Dabiri-Erewa praised the Director-General for Ekiti Diaspora Relations, Dr. Adeleye-Fasubaa, for organizing an exceptional event, noting it was unparalleled in her experience.

She expressed anticipation for her visit to Ekiti following the upcoming Diaspora Day event in July, urging all Diasporans to participate, even if virtually.

Furthermore, Mr. Mazi Godson Azu, CEO of Cater and Merger Consult, praised the initiative and Ekiti State’s leadership.

He encouraged indigenes to remember their roots and contribute to its development, applauding the Director-General’s proactive efforts in uniting Ekiti Diasporans.

Likewise, Ambassador Titus Alagba of NIDO Africa expressed amazement at the gathering, vowing to promote Ekiti’s impressive developmental strides.

Also, Dr. Badewa-Williams, Chairman of NDIS, expressed pride in Ekiti State and Dr. Adeleye-Fasubaa’s dynamic leadership, inviting everyone to the next NDIS event in Abuja in November.

His Royal Highness, Oba Ilori-Faboro, the Olojudo of Ido Ekiti and Chairman of the Traditional Council of Obas in Ekiti, praised Governor Oyebanji for recognizing Dr. Adeleye-Fasubaa’s potential. He concluded the meeting with prayers for the continued success of all Ekitis and their compatriots in the diaspora.
