Olugbile, Falana, EC-Council Instructors commend Onashoga’s Initiatives of CyberSec IMPACT Cohorts

The CyberSec IMPACT 3.0 Cohort on Foundational Training on Ethical Hacking recently concluded with a grand closing ceremony, attended by distinguished guests and cybersecurity experts.

Amb. Olusegun Olugbile, President of Global Network for Cyber Solutions in Nigeria and recipient of the 2024 Cybersecurity Advocate Award by the Nigerian Computer Society, was a special guest at the event.

Ambassador Olugbile commended Professor Onashoga for her initiative in promoting cybersecurity professionalism in the country.

He promised to forward the list of graduants to international communities for job opportunities and expressed his willingness to collaborate with Professor Onashoga and the organizers for more programs in the coming year.

Dr. O.J. Falana, an EC-Council and Cisco Certified Ethical Hacking Instructor, delivered a goodwill message, congratulating the graduating ethical hackers on their remarkable achievement.

He emphasized that the training program marked the beginning of a professional journey that demands integrity, curiosity, and responsibility. Dr. Falana urged the graduates to uphold ethical values, stay curious, and continue learning to excel in the field of cybersecurity.

Professor Bukola Onashoga, initiator of the Campus-wide Cybersecurity Awareness programme and leader of the CyberSec IMPACT initiative, has been lauded for her efforts in promoting cybersecurity awareness and professionalism in the country.

The CyberSec IMPACT program has been instrumental in equipping participants with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of cybersecurity.
